Case in point, I'm going to go see these guys tomorrow with Northlane and Thornhill and these guys have perfected blending modern metal with shoegaze

I do not like much black metal at all either, with few exceptions (especially because of their usually-awful politics). I will have to check them out though since I do like the modern metal bands that blend shoegaze influence with their music.

Starts out very Mogwai with screamed vocals, goes incredibly Oasis at the end with screamed vocals. They also look like an honest to good indie band, no corpse paint to see here
