emergency Houston visit, road trip back to SF Bay area after

Send lawyers, guns, and money, the shit has hit the fan.
Not quite, but bad enough.
My presumptive son in laws father died last week, and said person and my daughter (26&23y) drove out.
Then the hurricane headed for them.
Then psil hit their head hard enough to be altered. Didn't want to bet that everything will be fine, so here I am, on an airplane.
No idea how it goes, might run away Sunday, might ride it out of that seems ok.
Hopefully someone gets them to a Dr, they don't want to go.

Ran to Dallas area to wait out the storm, about to head back to Conroe, which is well north of Houston, we will start driving home tomorrow.

lots of places around here are still unpowered, we had a lot of trees come down during the storm. they and you doing alright?

Emergency road trip is going great, headed back to the bay area from Houston, things are just fine on the center divider on I-10.

what's this guy up to
- cropped screenshot from the above post. if you look into the dust beyond the reflection on the windshield there appears to be a guy with a backwards hat and maybe a grill or a stroller or something, it's hard to tell what and i might be way off
