I came into the possession of not ten, but twenty lbs of possibly the most delicious blueberries I've tasted. We have been eating them by the handful, but they are starting to age, so this recipe for a cornmeal-crust blueberry tart was an easy and satisfying way to bake up a pound. Cut the sugar in the filling by half and subbed applesauce in for the butter because I'm a cheapskate. Still came out well, just a bit more puffy than if I'd made the crust as written. I'd post a picture but I'm too sleepy to find image hosting, I'll get into it tomorrow.

Corn on the cob and feta mint onion garlicky turkey meatballs for dinner with that for dessert, summer rules.

noob question, it say for the filling to toss the blueberries, but the picture looks like it's a cream of sorts. won't i need to like, smash them up first or something?
