Tbh I'm not gonna moralize eating dogs. I probably wouldn't do it though.

One of my favourite stories was the story about Korea banning dog farms (link https://news.sky.com/story/south-korea- ... t-13044078) but I managed to find an article that was heavily against the ban. They were saying - these dog farms ensure the survival of the dog breeds, and also their wellbeing, they are never mistreated! If you shut the farms down, a wave of stray dogs will be released into the cities of Korea!
