Thought it was a genuine falconry account and followed off that but the allure of falcon related derivative financial products was greater than even I could have imagined.

Absolutely I was fooled. It just made me want to learn more. It was probably sometime in 2020 or maybe 2019 but I don’t remember

I was fooled maybe three times. I searched for the bird heiroglyph to find more info but there are genuinely a lot of posts about falconry or other stuff that pollute the search. I missed Bernie's account on every search because it was private and looked legit/corporate. I think someone actually had to link me his account for me to believe it was what it was. Convincing and bewildering cover.

I think I saw screenshots in the imgur app and thought they were pretty funny. It seems like so long ago- were you doing this bit somewhere else before the twitter account?

I don't remember, but I do remember that I thought the Falconry account was funny and interacted with/followed it on Twitter before I even knew who it was, to the point that for awhile I thought it was the same person as Discount Dog Scuba, whom I also find amusing.
