Re: Post your active Steam Games (or Epic, if you are racist)
Citizen Sleeper is really very good. Rocket league is keeping me going but when I need to lower my blood pressure I slay some spires. Mini Metro for crisis mode. Frostpunk, heavy burden and half-earth socialism I was just trying out, not managed to stick with any of them. Screenshot 2024-07-21 16505...

Re: What are you all reading?
. For nonfiction I've been reading British Rail by Christian Wolmar. Reinforcing my love of trains, and my disregard for Beeching. Say more about how the book relates to trains. I fucking love trains. It's all trains, baby. Well, it's meta-train, I have to admit. It is not engineering specs so much...

Re: What are you all reading?
In terms of fiction I just finished the Culture novels by Iain M Banks (for like the 4th time) and greatly enjoyed.

Re: who wants to play bird forum dnd
I would commit, but I would vote for Lancer or Pathfinder or powered by the apocalypse monster of the week. DnD is fine though. But I can't DM either

Re: One of my favourite cars : 1978 Honda Civic
miss old cars so bad. I had the pleasure of owning a 1994 puegot 205 (a different, better example pictured...) peugeot-205-peugeot-205-turbo-diesel-mardi-gras-11-months-mot-low-mileage_8568321053.jpg currently rocking a renault megane 2001. I would love to keep travelling back in time though. might ...

Re: [ECONOARMAGEDDON] TOMORROW WILL BE WORSE
I hate these types of posts where people say businesses just "write off" things to cheat on their taxes. Trashing their product requires labor and effort and is a legitimate business cost. Corporations are taxed on the difference between their expenses and their total revenue. Increasing ...

Re: how do you know if your dog is only doing things ironically
I know some people that would say this means your dog needs to try psychadelic drugs. And then the reddit advice is to go to the gym, go to social outings, invest in your hobbies and yourself, spend a lot of time near other people. So I guess the dog needs to hit the club. (or get another dog for th...

Re: what was your first experience with falconry finance
I was fooled maybe three times. I searched for the bird heiroglyph to find more info but there are genuinely a lot of posts about falconry or other stuff that pollute the search. I missed Bernie's account on every search because it was private and looked legit/corporate. I think someone actually had...

Re: spontaneous human combustion solved, recreated in lab
To be fair I remember this being the theory when I obsessively watched a billion documentaries about this and traumatised myself as a kid worrying I'd burst into flame at any moment. One reason why I never smoke or drink.
